What’s new in Little Tagger

Little Tagger, now in Shortcuts and ready for macOS 27.

Bring your tagging routines into Shortcuts, find saved presets and workflows with Spotlight, and connect Little Tagger to the tools you already use. Version 2.1.0 also improves tag suggestions and adds more ways to work with the files and tags in your workspace.

Shortcuts

Your tagging routines, now in Shortcuts.

Apply Finder tags, use a saved preset, or run a workflow as part of an Apple shortcut. Bring the tagging steps you repeat into a routine you can reuse.

    Add existing or new tags, replace tags, or remove tags from supplied files.

    Apply a saved tagging setup without rebuilding its settings.

    Run saved presets in their defined order.

Spotlight

Your presets, a Spotlight search away.

Find and open saved Little Tagger presets and workflows directly from Spotlight. Get back to a familiar tagging setup without browsing through the app.

Requires macOS 26 or later.

Links

Connect your saved routines to other apps.

Copy a link to a saved preset or workflow and use it in another app, including Raycast Quicklinks. Keep the tagging setups you use most within easy reach.

Filters

See what still needs a tag.

Show only files with no tags in your workspace. The new untagged-files filter makes it easier to find the items you have not organized yet.

Little Tagger 2.1.0 prepares the app for macOS 27 while continuing to support Macs running macOS 15 or later.
