Change or cancel a subscription

Manage renewal or change plans through the Apple Account used for your purchase.

Last updated: 2026-09-11

Quick answer

Open App Store > your name > Account Settings > Subscriptions and select Little Tagger. Choose Cancel Subscription to stop renewal, or See All Plans to review another plan. Some App Store layouts show Manage beside Subscriptions. Read Apple’s confirmation and the resulting status before closing the page.

Open your subscription

  1. Open the App Store on your Mac and select your name. Use Sign In if needed.
  2. Choose Account Settings.
  3. Open Subscriptions, or Manage next to it on layouts that use that control.
  4. Select Little Tagger. Use Edit beside it if your layout shows a list with Edit links.

Use the Apple Account that made the subscription purchase, not merely whichever account happens to be signed in on another device.

Cancel renewal

Choose Cancel Subscription and complete Apple's confirmation. Reopen the subscription details to check the resulting renewal or expiration status. If there is no cancellation button or a red expiration message is shown, Apple says the subscription is already canceled.

For a free or discounted trial you do not intend to renew, Apple advises canceling at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Read any access-end warning in the confirmation rather than assuming the remaining trial period is guaranteed.

See Apple's current cancellation instructions for device-specific and regional details.

Change the plan

On the subscription's page, choose See All Plans and select an available alternative. Review the price and the terms Apple displays before confirming. Older App Store layouts may present the alternatives in an Options list instead.

The app's Choose Your Plan screen is for acquiring access; you do not need to lose access or start onboarding again just to manage an existing subscription. Apple's plan-change instructions describe the account-side process.

Keep cancellation separate from other actions

Closing Little Tagger, clearing its workspace, removing the app, or removing a folder location is not an instruction to Apple to cancel renewal. Manage the subscription in your Apple Account and confirm the result there.

Cancellation does not run a delete-tags operation against your files. When app access ends, do not confuse a purchase screen with deletion of the tags already written to those files. For an unexpected access loss while Apple still shows entitlement, use Restore purchases and resolve access issues.

Missing subscriptions and refunds

A previous one-time app purchase does not need to appear as an active subscription. For that situation, use Previous one-time purchase access.

For a subscription you cannot locate, check the Apple Account identified on the purchase receipt. Avoid starting a second subscription to solve a missing account listing.

A refund request is separate from stopping renewal. Use Apple's refund-request process for an eligible App Store charge. Apple determines eligibility and the outcome; submitting a request does not guarantee a refund.
