Copy and use preset and workflow links
Open a saved item from another app, or pass it files to process.

Quick answer
Right-click a saved preset or workflow and choose Copy Link. A plain link opens and selects the item. A link with explicit file input can import files and use the item’s saved execution timing; Manually waits for Play.
Copy a link
- In the Little Tagger sidebar, find the saved preset or workflow.
- Right-click it.
- Choose Copy Link.
What a link contains
A copied link identifies one saved item in your library. It does not export the preset or workflow settings. Do not expect it to work on another Mac with a different saved library.
Open an item or supply files

| Plain copied link | Opens and selects the saved item without starting tagging. |
| Link with file input and Manually selected | Imports the input, selects the item, and waits for Play. |
| Link with file input and automatic timing | Uses the saved immediate or delayed execution setting when execution is allowed. |
Folder processing and filtering follow the item’s saved settings. Links do not bypass file permissions or create a separate workspace. See Choose when presets and workflows run.
Use a link in Raycast
In a Raycast Quicklink, paste your own copied link and append this optional suffix to pass one file or folder path:

Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| The link opens nothing or reports a missing item | The preset or workflow may have been deleted. Copy a new link from the saved item. |
| The link is reported as invalid | Copy the link again instead of editing it by hand. |
| A path cannot be opened | Check the path and that its location is approved in folder access. |
| Another operation is running | Wait for it to finish, then open the link again. |
| The item opens but does not run | This is expected when the link has no file input, or when the item’s timing is Manually. Press Play to run it. |
